Sunset in LA

Well, we're back in Los Angeles and what finds us? A beautiful sunset. A four star hotel via Hotwire.com for only $123 per night. And of course, we are sans kids for the weekend!

The Intercontinental was lovely. The staff were amazing and attentive. Decent sushi bar in the hotel (limited selection but who's complaining). Comfortable bed with crisp linen (love that)! Overall, for an overnight stay, we were very pleased. Except the pool does not compare to the Intercontinental in Chicago (see below).

Oh stop grumbling already! A wonderful weekend lies ahead! Enjoy it while you can!
