Out and about

A few jaunts around this great city with two willing adventurers...

Be free, run ahead but stop at the end of the street (or driveways)!

On Jackson Street, about 4 blocks from the apartment. Note the Transamerica Pyramid building in the background (SF's tallest and most recognizable skyscraper in the city's skyline).

Ferry Building Marketplace is a magical place to catch a ferry, browse small boutique shops offering everything from artisan cheese and fine wine to fresh local seafood or dine in a handful of cafes or restaurants. All this magic is only three short blocks from our apartment!

Inside the Ferry Building Marketplace, we enjoy yummy gelato!

Another shot of the Transamerica Pyramid and the Sentinel Building that is home to Cafe Zoetrope and American Zoetrope (studio headquarters for a studio founded in 1969 by Francis Ford Coppola and George Lucas). Coppola wrote most of "The Godfather" screenplay in nearby cafes and City of Lights bookstore across the street. Very cool!
